1. Who we are
The data controller for the Packflow website and services is Packflow S.r.l., a company registered in Italy. We operate the Packflow platform globally, connecting beverage businesses with suppliers and offering independent consultancy.
For privacy questions, email us at hello@packflow.info.
2. What data we collect
We collect only the personal data needed to run the platform and respond to enquiries:
- Contact and enquiry data — name, email address, company name and message when you use the contact form or request information.
- Subscription and account data — name, email, company and billing details when you subscribe to a supplier listing or consultancy plan.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and referral URLs, collected automatically when you browse the site.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy for details.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data or special-category data.
3. How we use your data
We use personal data for the following purposes:
- Replying to enquiries submitted through the contact or subscription forms.
- Providing supplier directory listings and consultancy services.
- Managing accounts, subscriptions and payments.
- Understanding how visitors use the site through aggregated analytics.
- Keeping the site secure and preventing abuse.
- Complying with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data with suppliers or third parties for their own marketing purposes without your consent.
4. Legal basis for processing
We process personal data on one of the following legal bases:
- Contractual necessity — to provide the services you requested or subscribed to.
- Legitimate interest — to respond to enquiries, keep the site secure and improve the platform, always balanced against your rights.
- Consent — for analytics and marketing cookies, which you can withdraw at any time via your browser settings or any cookie preference tool we make available.
- Legal obligation — when required by applicable law, regulation or legal process.
5. Subprocessors and hosting
We rely on trusted service providers to host and operate the platform. Our current subprocessors include:
- Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, authentication and serverless functions for the Packflow application.
- Google Analytics — anonymous, aggregated website usage analytics (only when consent is given for analytics cookies).
These providers may process data in data centres inside and outside the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and the provider's participation in recognised adequacy frameworks, where applicable.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Account and subscription data: retained until account closure, then for up to 1 additional year unless a longer retention period is required by law.
- Contact and enquiry data: retained for 12 months after the enquiry is closed, unless you ask us to delete it earlier or we need to keep it for legal reasons.
- Analytics data: retained according to the settings of our analytics provider and then aggregated or deleted.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights over your personal data, including:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your data in certain circumstances.
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent — at any time for processing based on consent.
To exercise your rights, email hello@packflow.info. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. These include access controls, encrypted connections and regular review of our service providers. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so we encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your account credentials safe.
9. Third-party links
The Packflow directory may contain links to supplier websites. This Privacy Policy does not cover those external sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.
